Protective Wall Padding

All wall padding is not created equal! There is a misperception in the market place that “wall padding is wall padding”. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Yes, the 7/16" OSB backing and fabric covering may be similar in a lot of respects. But, what defines the protective qualities of the padding is it’s ability to absorb and dispurse shock. After all, isn’t the purpose of putting wall padding in place to provide maximum protection for your student body? At one time, many years ago, only polyurethane foams were available for this purpose, and they had far less shock absorbency and limited lifespan than the sophisticated polyethylene foams available now. These new foams are used in the dashboards of automobiles, as they are renowned for the ability to protect passengers during impact, and they are the types of foams we use. That’s why our wall panels are superior to those of many of our competitors. Make sure you always receive a sample of the wall padding you are considering before you award a contract to any company, and be certain it meets the very strigent specifications of RESILITE, unquestionably the leader in this industry.

Types of Wall Padding

Slot-Back System - only available from RESILITE. This unique method of installing protective wall panels allow’s them to easily be removed for repair if they’re ever damaged or vandalized. Many companies either mount firing strips on the wall, and attach the wall panels to them, or simply nail the wall panels directly into the wall. They also may use Liquid Nail, a powerful adhesive, to secure them. This creates inherent difficulties as the panels may be further damaged during the removal process. Our panels are easy to recover and remount, and provide many years of trouble free service. That’s why they’re such a great value.

Waincott panels - a 1", fabric covered nailing lip extends on either end of these panels, and is used to mount the panels on to firing strips, or to a wall surface which will accept a wood screw. They can be removed with a screw driver or screw gun should they ever need repair or replacement. They can be removed with a screwdriver of screw gun should they ever need repair of replacement.

	Guardian XL Wainscot Panels Provides Medium to Heavy Duty Protection Foam Core 2” thick crosslink polyethylene laminated to 7/16” thick conventional or slot-back panel.
	Guardian Wainscot Panels Provides Light to Medium Duty Protection Foam Core 1 3/8” thick crosslink polyethylene laminated to 7/16” thick conventional or slot-back panel.
	Safeguard Plus Wainscot Panels Class A Fire Rated Wall Padding Fire Retardant & Provides Medium Duty Protection! Foam Core 1 3/8" neoprene compound foam laminated to 7/16" thick conventional of slot-back panel treated with fire retardent coating.

Dual-Purpose Folding Mats - Our dual-purpose folding mats can be used as floor mats as well as wall padding.  Be sure to order these with Velcro on three sides.  We install Velcro Mat Hangars on the wall surface which allows our mats to be hung on the wall.  All dual-purpose folding mats are covered with an extra heavy duty 18 oz. double coated polyester fabric, and are available in 9 colors:  navy, royal blue, yellow, red, kelly green, tan, orange, light gray, black.

Kwik-Stik - Our RSP-600 Kwik Stik is made with AMC 2 1" thick continuous PVC foam, and is perfect for wrestling rooms and behind basketball backboards.  A factory applied sakhesive on the back side facilitates the installation process.  26 Kwik-Stik colors are available, and we apply a free 5" or 6" border along the top edge in a contrasting color upon completion of our installation.  The colors you can choose from are: white, light gray, metallic silver, black, pale yellow, light gold, metallic gold, old gold, kelly green, medium green, dark green, red, orange, burnt orange, light maroon, dark maroon, chocolate brown, turquoise, sea green, Columbia blue, bright blue, royal blue, Penn State blue, navy blue, purple.
